Experience bringing ideas to life through design, fabrication, prototyping, testing, and iterative refinement. I am growing my expertise by developing my own projects and by working in Boston University’s manufacturing center, where I assist clients to turn their ideas into working prototypes. Specific skill sets include: Additive Manufacturing: 3D printing (SLA/FDM with a broad range of resins, plastics, carbon fiber, etc). print preparation, post-processing, design for additive manufacturing. Manual Fabrication: Sheet metal forming, manual lathe and mill work, welding, saws, soldering, etc.; CNC Machining and Digital Fabrication Broad CNC mill and lathe machining operation and programming experience, laser and water jet cutting, wire EDM, CAD/CAM workflows, machine setup and toolpath preparation.
